The STAR Foundation is based in the United States of America and was established as a 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt charitable organization in 2018 as "A STAR FOR BEN FOUNDATION" EIN 82-5186436. In 2025, the Foundation's name was legally changed to "Salla Treatment and Research Foundation" (posting of the updated name is pending on the US Internal Revenue Service website, but is reflected on the 2024 Form 990 as required). EIN remains the same.
